Background
Amy Gavin is an accomplished multidisciplinary set designer and creative director known for transforming spaces into visually striking experiences. With over 15 years of expertise designing and producing live events, broadcast television, and brand activations, she has shaped environments across the U.S. and internationally for select clients including Google, OpenAI, NBC, Spotify, Airbnb, and Paramount.
Her curiosity for design emerged early—at five years old, she was critiquing restaurants by the quality of their restroom design, an early insight that details make the experience. That instinct continues to drive her today, whether designing for 30 Rock and Lincoln Center or transforming raw industrial spaces into sophisticated environments, no detail is too small. With a background in interior architecture, her work is rooted in a thoughtful integration of existing architecture, intuitive spatial flow, and human experience.
A collaborative leader, Amy oversees every facet of the environmental design process, curating and guiding high-performing, cross-functional teams while fostering strong partnerships with clients and production partners.
Beyond design, Amy has a known proclivity for all things miniature and is among the 0.5% of women with color blindness—a most ironic trait. She lives in New York with her husband and their goodest boy, Gordon. When not designing, she’s likely traveling, collecting treasure, or (still) judging public spaces by their restroom design.
